Garra Rufa Fish
Garra rufa fish, sometimes called doctor fish, are small, toothless carp used for fish pedicures and footbaths. Originally hailing from Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran, the toothless carp feed on dead scales of other fish when they’re in the wild, and dead skin from human feet when they’re kept in spas and salons for the purpose of fish pedicures.
